There's a certain energy to live casino that you just don't get anywhere else in online gaming. When a real dealer is shuffling cards in front of a camera, when you can see the roulette wheel spin and the ball settle — that's a different experience from clicking on a digital slot or watching a number generator resolve a hand. The 98pkt Live Casino is built around that feeling, and it's why the live section consistently draws the most active players on the platform.
For Pakistani players specifically, the live casino format has taken off for a number of reasons. The combination of real-time gameplay, familiar card games like Baccarat and Andar Bahar, and the ability to bet in PKR without any currency conversion makes it a natural fit. When you place a PKR 500 bet on the Banker at 98pkt Live Baccarat and see the dealer flip the cards right in front of you, that immediacy and transparency is what keeps players coming back.
If you spend any time in the 98pkt live lobby, you'll notice that Baccarat tables are consistently the busiest. This isn't unique to 98pkt — Baccarat dominates live casino traffic across most platforms that serve Asian and South Asian markets, and Pakistan is no different. The game's appeal is tied to its simplicity: bet on Player, Banker or Tie, watch the cards come out, collect your winnings. There's no complex strategy to memorise, no pressure to make decisions under time pressure the way there is in Blackjack.
At 98pkt, multiple Baccarat variants run simultaneously. Speed Baccarat runs faster rounds for players who want quicker action. VIP Baccarat tables have higher minimum and maximum bet limits and are reserved for higher-tier members. Standard Baccarat tables have entry-level minimums that work well for players who are new to live gaming or who prefer to manage their session spend carefully.
Beyond Baccarat, the 98pkt live lobby covers the full range of classic casino games. Live Roulette tables run both European and American variants, with European Roulette being the better-value option at 97.30% RTP compared to the American version. For players who haven't tried live Roulette before, it's one of the most visually engaging games in the lobby — watching the wheel spin and the ball bounce in real time has an immediacy that digital versions simply can't replicate.
Live Blackjack adds a strategic layer that appeals to players who want more control over their outcomes. Unlike Baccarat, where the only decision is your initial bet, Blackjack requires you to choose whether to hit, stand, double down or split — decisions that directly affect your outcome. The 98pkt Blackjack tables include Infinite Blackjack, which allows an unlimited number of players to join a single table without seats running out, making it ideal during busy match-day periods when PSL or T20 international cricket has the platform at peak activity.
Andar Bahar is one of those games that needs no introduction to players who grew up in South Asia. The rules are as simple as they come: one card is drawn as the joker, and you bet on whether the next matching card falls on the Andar (inside) or Bahar (outside) position. The 98pkt live version of Andar Bahar brings this familiar format into a proper live studio setting, with a professional dealer running rounds that last only a minute or two each.
The speed of Andar Bahar is part of its appeal. Sessions can pack in a high number of rounds compared to slower games like Blackjack, which means the entertainment value per session is high. The low minimum bet of PKR 50 also makes it accessible for players who want to spread a modest session budget across a larger number of rounds rather than concentrating it into a few high-stakes hands.
The majority of 98pkt players access the platform on mobile, and the Live Casino section is fully built to support that. Live streams load through the mobile browser without any dedicated plugin requirements, and the betting interface is designed for touchscreen use — you tap your chips onto the bet area, confirm with a single press and watch the round resolve on the same screen. The 98pkt app also carries the full live casino experience for players who prefer a dedicated app environment over the mobile browser.
Mobile live casino does require a stable internet connection for uninterrupted streaming. On a 4G or home WiFi connection, the HD streams at 98pkt perform reliably. If you're in an area with variable signal, the standard quality stream still provides a clear enough picture to follow every card and every spin without frustration.
The 98pkt VIP programme is closely tied to live casino activity. Points earned through live table play count toward your tier advancement, and each tier brings tangible benefits to your live gaming experience. Gold members gain priority customer support for any live session issues. Platinum members earn higher cashback rates on live casino losses. Diamond members access the exclusive VIP Baccarat Lounge, which runs at higher bet limits with dedicated dealers and a more streamlined table experience.
For regular live casino players, advancing through the VIP tiers is a natural progression rather than something that requires deliberate effort. Consistent play at the live tables accumulates points steadily, and the tier benefits — particularly the cashback rates and exclusive table access — make a genuine difference to the economics of your sessions over time.
One of the most practical advantages of playing live casino at 98pkt is that the entire transaction chain stays in PKR. You deposit in PKR via JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast or bank transfer. Your balance in the live lobby is displayed in PKR. Your bet is placed in PKR. If you win, your winnings are added to your PKR balance immediately. When you withdraw, the PKR goes straight to your mobile wallet or bank account.
This matters because a lot of international live casino platforms process accounts in USD or EUR and apply conversion at the point of deposit or withdrawal. Those conversions introduce fees and exchange rate exposure that quietly erode your bankroll over time. At 98pkt, that layer simply doesn't exist — what you put in is what you play with, and what you win is what you take out, all in the same currency.
Live casino games are fast-paced and engaging by design, which makes it easy to lose track of time and session spend. The 98pkt Responsible Gaming tools are available to all members and are worth using if you want to keep your play structured. Deposit limits, session time alerts and self-exclusion options can all be configured through your account settings. Setting a session budget before you enter a live table — and committing to leaving when that budget is reached — is the most straightforward way to ensure your live casino sessions stay enjoyable rather than becoming a source of financial stress.
